Today, we're releasing Aneu 2.7 with new planning capabilities, a redesigned insights experience, and infrastructure that prepares us for the growth we've seen over the last few weeks.
Plan
Planning anything—date nights, weekend trips, group hangouts—usually means bouncing between apps, researching options, and trying to coordinate schedules. Your Navigator can now handle that entire process.
Tap Plan, set your preferences, and your Navigator researches and builds a complete itinerary based on your location, preferences, and the context of what's happenning in your relationship.
Once it's ready, you can edit it yourself, add it directly to your calendar, or share it as an invitation.
Relationship Wrapped
Our core purpose at Aneu is to help you understand, improve, and make better decisions about your relationships. Your Navigator generates insights to help with that, but we learned those insights could be long and, frankly, boring to read.
So we rebuilt the entire experience. We call it Relationship Wrapped. Once a week, your Navigator packages up all the insights from the week and delivers them Sunday morning in a format that's simple, engaging, and actually enjoyable to receive.
We also learned you wanted your Navigator to help you take action on those insights. So now, at the end of each Wrapped, your Navigator suggests specific things to focus on for the upcoming week. Choose a few—or add your own—and your Navigator saves them to your dashboard and keeps them in mind as the week unfolds.
These are a joy to receive, and we hope you love them as much as we do.
Customization
This was one of the most requested features: the ability to adjust how your Navigator communicates. You can now customize tone, response length, and whether your Navigator uses appropriate grammar and punctuation. This is the foundation—we're building more controls based on what you need.
Better Context
Many of you asked for your Navigator to be more aware of what's happening within the app itself. Your Navigator would reach out without understanding the current time, how much time has passed since your last text, or what's new within the app.
So we built something we call an Instruction Engine. It collects and organizes helpful information for your Navigator, like what's going on within the app—new insights, Relationship Wrapped status, time of day, what actions are available—and passes it to your Navigator as important context.
Now, your Navigator is now far more aware of what's happening at any given time. This increased intelligence is beneficial for everything from planning dates to understanding what's possible within Aneu itself.
Infrastructure
In the last few weeks, we've experienced a 100x increase in the number of people using Aneu. This caused immense strain on our systems, leading to missed responses, or sometimes none at all.
We've started upgrading our infrastructure so we can continue to welcome new users without having to slow or halt responses to existing customers. This update prepares us for that transition. We'll post an update later this week.
